- Key Questions You Should Ask
Can we have a certificate of disposal?
Customers disposing of over 200kg of equipment will have to be registered with the Environment Agency as a Waste Producer. This is a simple process that costs £18 for registration. Customers can either register themselves or we can take their details and do it online with the Environment Agency. Once registered we can legally collect their waste and issue a Waste transfer notice. This then effectively transfers the duty of care to us as a Licensed Waste Carrier and on through the process of Waste Management and then Recycling.
We also supply a Certificate/report to show that disks have been data-wiped and, if needed ( at extra cost), a full Asset report.
